I was skeptical about pre-marinated shawarma in bulk, but this product exceeded expectations. The spice profile is very close to what I grew up eating—the subtle kick of allspice and cardamom is correct. The quality of the meat is good, though I wish the pieces were cut slightly more uniformly, as I had to adjust cooking times for some batches.

This bulk pack is fantastic for meal prepping. The chicken is well-marinated—you can really taste the garlic and paprika. It’s a huge time-saver. I docked one star because when I cook a large volume, the marinade tends to release a lot of liquid and gets a little oily, so make sure to cook it very hot to achieve that proper crispness.

Great value for the price and the quantity provided. The marinade is deeply flavorful, making it effortless to produce a high-quality meal quickly. It holds up well on the grill. Just be mindful during cooking, as the sugars in the marinade can cause it to char quite easily if the heat is too high for extended periods. Would buy again.

We purchase this regularly for our family’s get-togethers. The 1kg portions are perfect for managing quantity, and the chicken is always tender. It works wonderfully in rotis and pita wraps. The only reason it’s not five stars is that I find the overall product to be just slightly too high in sodium, but this is easily counterbalanced with fresh yogurt sauce.

A very convenient product for large freezers. The flavor is robust and savory, definitely a strong competitor to local take-away spots. The chicken cooks quickly and remains relatively tender. My only critique is that a couple of the 1kg bags seemed slightly wetter upon defrosting than others, requiring a bit of extra draining before grilling. Still highly recommend for bulk buyers.
