Guava pulp is obtained from ripe guava fruit, one of the highest sources of Vitamin C. Guava pulp has potential as a commercial source of pectin and, is used mainly for conversion into juices, jams, fruit cheeses, fruit bars etc. It is also used to flavour ice creams, puddings and yogurts.

This is definitely premium pulp and stores well in the freezer. It’s perfect for smoothies and cocktails. I deducted one star because there was a noticeable difference in the brix level (sweetness) between about two of the 1kg bags. Still delicious, just required minor adjustment.

Great bulk value. The guava taste is spot on, very rich and aromatic. I primarily use this for large batches of preserves and jams. I found it maybe slightly thinner than expected, meaning I had to cook it down a bit longer, but overall a solid, high-quality ingredient.

Excellent convenience for bulk use. It’s much better than dealing with canned alternatives for my catering business. The box is heavy, naturally, but the individual 1kg packs are useful. I wish the inner bags had a resealable zip closure for when I don’t use the entire kilo at once.

The flavor and sweetness of this pulp are excellent—very natural and high quality. It makes fantastic juices. My only slight critique is that when the pouches are frozen solid, they can be a bit challenging to cut open without making a mess. Quality is otherwise 5-star.
