Good, solid gizzards. They were mostly well-trimmed, but a few pieces required a quick extra snip before cooking. The flavor once slow-braised was superb, making a rich gravy. Knocking off one star for the slight prep work required.

I used these gizzards for an Egyptian style stew (kawareh). The meat was robust, flavorful, and held up perfectly to the long simmering time. Excellent product quality and highly recommended for traditional recipes.
