Atchara (Pappaya Salad) 500g

Atchara is a pickled appetizer made from grated papaya fruit and is often served as side dish to fried and grilled dishes. Other ingredients include carrot slices, bell pepper, garlic, onion, julienned ginger, raisins and options to add raisins, pineapple chunks, peppercorns, red pepper flakes and black pepper. It is then mixed with a blend of vinegar and a sugary syrup.
